Over the past two years, trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan has grown and amounted to about 82 million US dollars. The head of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said this during a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Bishkek, the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reports on the social network.
The Kyrgyz leader thanked the head of the Turkmen state for accepting the invitation to visit the republic on a working visit to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS Member States.

Sadyr Japarov stated that contacts between representatives of the business circles of the two countries have intensified, and trade and economic interaction is developing dynamically.
Kyrgyzstan strives to further develop and deepen cooperation with Turkmenistan, implement new promising projects in the field of trade, investment and logistics to use the existing potential, the country’s leader said. In this regard, the role of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation was noted.
