Negotiations took place in Ashgabat between Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Alexey Overchuk.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the fields of economics, energy, transport and culture.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the importance of Alexey Overchuk’s meeting with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was noted, during which the head of state gave a positive assessment of the current state of the multifaceted Turkmen-Russian partnership and identified the main directions for its further development.
