A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, at which Deputy Minister Mahri Bashimova accepted copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara) M. Amanul Haq, according to the official website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
At the meeting, the Deputy Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed her readiness to assist in the implementation of his diplomatic activities.
The parties also discussed current cooperation between the countries and prospects for interaction within international organizations.
