The AMAKids Academy for the Development of Children's Intelligence invites children aged 5 to 16 to a free trial lesson in mental arithmetic.
Mental arithmetic skills permit you to easily perform mental calculations using large numbers (five- and even six-digit). Mental arithmetic people can add, multiply, subtract, and divide large numbers without the aid of a calculator or paper and pencil.
The method, which makes it easy to operate with large numbers, is based on the calculation on the old abacus “abacus”. Students learn to perform various arithmetic operations with their help, and in the future, they already cope without them, simply imagining them mentally.
Mental arithmetic classes develop not only the ability to quickly calculate mentally, but also help in the future to master more complex mathematical tasks, improve memory and attentiveness, and develop logical thinking.
In a number of countries, such as China and Japan, mental arithmetic is actively used as one of the methods for training the mind and is even included in the programs of some schools.
