British scientists from the University of Loughborough, Leicestershire, conducted a study on the need for sleep and came to the conclusion that women need an hour more sleep to feel normal.
Scientists studied the activity of the brain in men and women during the day and came to the conclusion that women may not be enough recommended for a full sleep of 7-9 hours, and this rate should be increased by an average of 1 hour, since the brain of women often works in mode multitasking and takes longer to recover.
It is known that women can simultaneously engage in completely different things, while men are able to fully focus on only one.
