1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pardoned 463 citizens of Turkmenistan, convicted of crimes committed, but regretting their deeds and sincerely repenting of this, in honor of the Night of Omnipotence, which is celebrated on the 27th day of the Muslim fast. According to his Decree, the pardoned “are released from further serving the main punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty”. The hyakims of the velayats, etraps, cities and other leaders were instructed to ensure the employment of pardoned persons.

2. China Southern Airlines will resume direct flights from Urumqi to Ashgabat from April 25. At the initial stage, flights are scheduled once a week - on Tuesdays.

3. On April 22, employees of the Ministry of Adalat of Turkmenistan, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan and members of the Ashgabat City Bar Association will receive citizens on legal issues. The reception will be held from 9:00 to 12:00 local time in the building of the Ministry of Adalat.

4. In the sanatorium “Archman”, located in the Baherden etrap of the Ahal velayat, additional complexes of buildings for 400 people will be built. In this regard, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan has announced an international tender for the construction of additional new complexes.

5. “Lu Ban Workshop” will be opened at the International Oil and Gas University. Organizational issues of the opening were discussed in a hybrid format by the leadership of the university and representatives of the Turkmen branch of the China National Oil and Gas Corporation, as well as two higher schools of the PRC - Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University and Xi'an Petroleum University. The Chinese international project “Lu Ban Workshop” got its name in honor of the legendary Chinese inventor who lived 2500 years ago. According to legend, it was he who invented many devices that are used to this day.

6. Samarkand will become the cultural capital of the Commonwealth countries in 2024. The cultural capital of the CIS is chosen by the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth annually, starting from 2010. Over the years, it has become Shymkent, Kulyab, Voronezh, Astana, Dushanbe and others. Among the cities of Turkmenistan, Mary and Dashoguz were declared cultural capitals of the CIS.

7. NASA's self-propelled spacecraft landed on the surface of Mars photographed an amazing object resembling the backbone of a giant prehistoric fish or reptile. The first strange object in the pictures was discovered by cosmobiologist Natalya Karbol. She posted a photo on her Twitter account explaining that this is the most unusual rock she has seen in the last 20 years. Social media users immediately began to speculate about what it could be. Most are inclined to believe that this is evidence that life once existed on Mars, and the skeleton belonged to a Martian fish.

10. Basketball players of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports became the winners of the XXI Student Universiade. In the final match, which was held in the sports complex of the International University of Oil and Gas in Ashgabat, they beat the representatives of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance with a score of 79:60. In the women's tournament, the basketball players of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports prevailed over their rivals from the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction (29:19).
