The packaging design of the famous Swiss chocolate Toblerone will change - the image of the Swiss Matterhorn mountain will disappear from it, reports RBC with reference to the press service of the manufacturing company Mondelez.
This is due to the fact that the production of Toblerone is transferred from Switzerland to Slovakia, to the city of Bratislava. Now the packaging will also include the inscription that the chocolate was “created in Switzerland” instead of the “Swiss chocolate” label.
The Mondelez factory in Bratislava already produces Milka and Suchard chocolates. Toblerone will start production in the third quarter of this year.
