At the Tel Aviv airport, a married couple was detained, who left the stroller with their child at the check-in desk and tried to fly to Belgium without him, reports the “Izvestia” newspaper with reference to The Jerusalem Post.
Parents decided to leave the child in the airport building after it turned out that they did not have a ticket for the baby. They refused to purchase it and, leaving the child, calmly headed towards passport control.
This was noticed by the airport staff and immediately called the police. However, after the parents were detained, it turned out that they did not plan to abandon the child, but were simply late for registration. The check-in desk was already closed, so the tourists decided to talk to representatives of the “Ben Gurion” airport administration and left the stroller with the child in the check-in area for a while.
