President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations to King Philip of Belgium and the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations being celebrated today.
“Relations between our countries are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust”, said Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
He also stressed that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral relations with Belgium.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that, thanks to joint efforts, cooperation between the countries would continue to develop in the interests of both peoples.
Taking this pleasant opportunity, the head of Turkmenistan expressed wishes to King Philip of good health, happiness and prosperity, and to the people of Belgium - further progress and prosperity, reports the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper today.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Belgium were established on February 1, 1993.
