An office of “Sberbank” built according to Islamic standards has opened in Kazan, writes “MIR 24”.
In the new branch of the bank, Muslims of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia will be able to receive services that meet both the requirements of the laws of the Russian Federation and Sharia norms.

Trust management of assets here is called “mudaraba”, and leasing is called “ijara”, these are Muslim financial terms. The office also opened an exhibition on the history of banking in Islam, has a separate prayer room, and the cafeteria offers halal treats and spring water.
