A new Dental Center in Ashgabat will be built in Keshi, and an International Scientific and Clinical Centre of Oncology for 500 places – on the territory of the residential complex Choganly. It was reported to the President of Turkmenistan during a working trip to the capital by the Vice - Premier Nurmuhammet Amannepesov, who oversees the healthcare sector, the information program “Watan” of Turkmen television reported.

In accordance with his words, at the earliest date the results of the international tender for the construction of the International Research and Clinical Centre of Oncology will be summed up and the winner will be determined.

Amannepesov also reported on planned construction of an International Center of Pediatrics for 160 places in the southern part of the capital. This facility will be included in the structure of the Directorates of international Medical Centers of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. Here, young patients will be provided services of the highest quality, meeting international standards.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that in the last years in all regions of the country and in Ashgabat an optimal urban environment is created, in connection with which various projects are implemented, including the building of the healthcare system institutions.

Noting that the preparation of projects of this profile should be guided by best practices, and the medical facilities under construction should be of high-quality construction and meet all modern indicators, the Head of State stressed the need to make every effort to successfully solve the tasks, giving specific instructions.

The President of Turkmenistan instructed to announce an international tender for the construction of an International Center of Pediatrics and a Dental center, the construction of which is of great importance for ensuring high quality of services in the field of healthcare.

Besides, President of Turkmenistan gave instructions regarding the construction of the complex of new modern buildings of the Medical Advisory Center named after S.A.Niyazov, as well as the Educational and Scientific Center for Maternal and Child Health at the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M.Garryev, and the preparation of relevant proposals. In the future, these centers will work on the basis of the State Medical University, it is planned to place departments in them, teach students and organize courses of postgraduate professional development of doctors, conduct practical lessons. Here also will be provided medical services of high quality.
