Construction of a passenger bus station is nearing completion in Turkmenabat

Construction of the modern passenger bus stations in Turkmenabat is nearing completion. To this date more than 160 specialists work at the construction site.

The object is planned to put into commission to the 31st anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, Jeyhun news reports. The Day of Independence of Turkmenistan is celebrated on September 27.

We remind that the erection of the bus station started in Turkmenabat on the territory of the former airport in 2020.

The building will be contructed in the shape of eight-pointed “Star of Oguzhan”, in the center of which an installation presenting a carper geol of Lebap velayat will be installed. The bus station will be intended for the acceptance rate of 700 passengers per day. In the building of the bus station a Waiting Hall for 140 places will be located.

With the arrival of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat expressway to the administrative center of Lebap velayat in the coming years, this facility will be of great importance.
