“Paris Saint-Germain” announced the discharge of Mauricio Pochettino from the post of the head coach of the team, writes “Championat” with the reference to the press-service of the team.
It is said in the official statement that the club thanks Pochettino and his staff for their work and wishes all the best in future.
We remind that the Argentine specialist headed the Parisians in January 2021. During this time, besides the victory in Ligue 1, Pochettino won the French Super Cup. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
Earlier we reported that for the early termination of the contract, “PSG” will have to pay Pochettino and his coaching staff compensation in the amount of 15 million euros.
