Turkmenistan continues construction of facilities worth 37 billion US dollars, most of which are for social purposes. Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated it at the meeting of the Government, which considered the results of the industries’ development for two months of the year, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television reported.
The Head of State stressed that the domestic construction and installation organizations build most of these facilities worth over $18 billion.
The Turkmen leader keeps continued focus on construction.
To recap, within the framework of the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Social and Economic Development of the Country for 2019-2025”, 42 facilities completed out of 276 provided for construction and reconstruction, and 167 are underway.
In total, 73 large industrial and social facilities commissioned in 2021.
Earlier, Berdimuhamedov stated that the construction of smart houses and smart cities would continue, as well as “in the future, each family will have a separate apartment or house.”
