Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Serdar Berdimuhamedov is registered as a candidate for the post of the President of Turkmenistan. Today he received the relevant certificate, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television reported.
To recap, the candidacy of Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the post of the President of Turkmenistan was unanimously approved and nominated by the participants of the Extraordinary IX Congress of the Democratic Party held on the eve.
By the decision of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh the elections of the President of Turkmenistan will be held on March 12.
