Google has decided to rebrand the Google Chrome browser icon. About this in his Twitter said the designer of the company Alvin Hu. The new icon has not undergone global changes, it has only become a little more in line with modern requirements.

“We removed the shadows, simplified the proportions and made the colors a little brighter, thus simplifying the icon. Thus, we brought it in line with a more modern expression of the Google brand,” said Alvin Hu.
In addition, a subtle gradient was added to soften the color transition, since, according to the designers, the placement of certain shades of green and red side by side “creates an unpleasant color vibration”.
