The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Rashid Meredov will pay a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on October 26-28, 2021. The corresponding order was signed today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the "Watan" news program of the Turkmen television reported.
The Turkmen delegation will take part in the 16th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation, as well as inter-ministerial consultations.
It is also expected that on October 27 the head of the Turkmen foreign ministry will take part in the meeting of the neighboring countries of Afghanistan and Russia at the level of foreign ministers, which will be held in Tehran.
