Recently, an online conference on the role of Turkmenistan's neutrality in ensuring regional stability and international security was held by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United Kingdom of great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan was attended by representatives of the British Parliament, the International Maritime organization, professors, postgraduates and students of higher educational institutions of the country.

In his speech, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan spoke about the history of Turkmen neutrality, the significance and role of Turkmenistan in ensuring regional and international peace and security, as well as about the initiatives put forward by the country on various international platforms.

The conference was also addressed by representatives of universities in the UK. Congratulating the Turkmen people on the significant date, they noted the importance of the policy of positive neutrality of Turkmenistan.

The conference participants were also shown a video about the success and achievements of Turkmenistan during the years of neutrality, the website reports neutrality.gov.tm.
