The Embassy of Italy in Ashgabat has published a booklet on “Italian Ceramics” both in Turkmen and English languages on the occasion of the 3rd edition of the Italian Design Day - IDD 2020, which took place on May 28-29 with a series of videoconferences attended by students and professors of the Turkmen State University “Magtymguly”, the International University for Humanities and Development IUHD, the Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Turkmen State Academy of Arts in Ashgabat. The booklet describes with text and images the use of ceramics and terracotta by workshops and private entrepreneurs in many Italian regions as well as by some of the most famous classical and contemporary artists.
The Italian Design Day- IDD is a cultural project held annually by the Italian Embassy in Ashgabat with the support of the Turkmen Ministries of Culture and Foreign Affairs.
