On August 21, the admission campaign to all secondary and higher professional educational institutions of Turkmenistan ends, the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" reports.

Until the end of August, the new galaxy of students will continue to be admitted exclusively to primary vocational schools. In General, within the framework of this year's entrance campaign, first-year students were recruited for dozens of new training areas, including those directly related to training in the field of digitalization.

Over thirty new specialties have been added to the curriculum of more than half of our country's civil higher schools. It's two agricultural University, Turkmen state University named after Magtymguly, Engineering-technological University named after Oguz Han Turkmen national Institute of world languages named after D. Azadi, Turkmen state pedagogical Institute named after S. Seydi Turkmen state Institute of Economics and management, the State energy Institute of Turkmenistan, Institute of telecommunications and information Sciences of Turkmenistan, Institute of engineering and transport communications of Turkmenistan, Turkmen state Institute of culture.

In the coming 2020-2021 academic year, students from more than forty secondary vocational schools will start studying in fourteen new areas of specialization. Five new specialties, mainly related to the digitalization of various areas of the national economy, have added to the curriculum of a representative network of primary vocational schools located in different regions of the country: a total of sixty of them.
