On April 16, a videoconference will be held in Ashgabat with the participation of representatives of the world intellectual property organization (WIPO) and a number of relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
The main purpose of the conference is to exchange experience in the field of copyright protection, study the basics of intellectual property in universities, and other topical issues.
This was announced at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers by Deputy Prime Minister and foreign Minister Rashid Meredov, emphasizing the need to intensify relations with specialized international organizations to introduce modern technologies in all sectors of the economic complex. Cooperation with WIPO opens up new opportunities for this.
