Practical steps aimed at successfully solving the problems of developing the financial and economic sphere were discussed during a workshop held by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov, who oversees the economic block, and Chairman of the Central Bank Merdan Annadurdiyev, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The Deputy Prime Minister reported on the implementation of instructions to improve the activities of institutions of the subordinate complex. As reported, the latest methods and technologies are actively used in all structures.

At the appropriate level, we are working to increase the production of import-substituting products and increase the country's export potential. Special importance is attached to the successful solution of tasks for the development of the digital economy.

There was also a report on the implementation of the instructions of the head of state on the comprehensive training of qualified employees for the banking and financial sector, the introduction of modern achievements, techniques and methods used in this industry.

After hearing the report, the head of state stressed that the development of the economy on a scientific basis is an important requirement of the time. Then the Chairman of the Central Bank, M. Annadurdiyev, reported on the state of Affairs in the subordinate structures, practical steps taken to successfully complete the tasks outlined in the program of socio-economic development of the country until 2025.

As it was reported, large-scale work is being carried out to ensure the stable growth of all sectors of the national economy, stimulate small and medium-sized businesses, and consistently improve banking activities through the introduction of best practices.
