Today, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Ignazio Cassis, Vice President of the Swiss Confederation, which currently chairs the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. This was reported by TDH.
As emphasized, Turkmenistan attaches particular importance to coordinating efforts within the OSCE.
-We have favorable conditions for expanding cooperation in areas such as ensuring safe and reliable energy supplies to global markets, creating conditions for sustainable economic growth, fully utilizing our potential in transportation, environmental protection, and the rational use of water resources, - said President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The head of state confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to expand cooperation with the OSCE in the name of further ensuring peace and sustainable development on the planet.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also noted the current productive nature of relations between Turkmenistan and the Swiss Confederation and the country's interest in consistently developing bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. In this context, Turkmenistan expressed its readiness to consider specific proposals from the Swiss side.
The guest emphasized that Turkmenistan's foreign policy is exemplary for the entire world and also confirmed the great importance Switzerland attaches to the consistent development of interstate cooperation.
