The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan, timed to coincide with the state visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Georgia, are being held in Tbilisi with great success.

As reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, a large-scale exhibition of works of Turkmen national decorative and applied art was organized as part of the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture. Museum treasures, as well as works by artists and sculptors, were on display. The exhibition allowed visitors to become acquainted with the rich national heritage of the Turkmen people.

The cultural event program also included meetings between theater directors, library directors, and creative figures from Turkmenistan and Georgia.

The concert at the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan included performances by singers, musicians, and folk and dance groups. The musical numbers, especially Georgian songs performed by renowned Turkmen pop artists, were enthusiastically received by the audience.

Members of the Turkmen creative delegation visited the sights of Tbilisi.
