The second meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Business Council will be held in Dushanbe

Deputy Prime Minister N. Atagulyev reported to the Government of Turkmenistan on preparations for the second meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Business Council, which is to be held in Dushanbe. As previously reported, the necessary work is currently underway.

Representatives of ministries and sectoral agencies, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs are expected to participate in the meeting. The primary objective of the meeting is the further development of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the Head of State's consideration.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is consistently expanding trade and economic cooperation with foreign nations and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to make proper preparations for the upcoming meeting, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
