A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Rahymberdi Jepbarov, Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, is participating in the 2026 OPEC Fund Development Forum in Vienna.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the holding of the forum under the motto “A transition that expands the possibilities of our tomorrow” marks the 50th anniversary of the OPEC Fund for International Development.

During their visit to Vienna, the Turkmen delegation held meetings with OPEC Fund President Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development CEO Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, and Turkic Investment Fund President Baghdad Amreyev.

The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the forum reflects the country’s ongoing interaction with international financial and development institutions, the source notes.
