Defender Marc Cucurella has permanently transferred from English club “Chelsea” to Spanish club “Real Madrid”, as reported on the official “Chelsea” FC website.

The 27-year-old joined “Chelsea” in the summer of 2022 from “Brighton”. With the London side, he won the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup last year.

During his time with “Chelsea”, Cucurella was regularly called up to the Spanish national team and won the European Championship in 2024.

“Chelsea” thanked the defender for his contribution to the team's success and wished him good luck in the new stage of his career.
