Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan, A. Bayramov, held talks with Princess Takamado, a member of the Imperial Family of Japan, to discuss key areas for the development of traditional cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The Turkmen side expressed gratitude to Princess Takamado for her significant personal contribution to strengthening the ties of international friendship, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.

Particular emphasis was placed on the historical significance of the two meetings between the President of Turkmenistan and Emperor Naruhito of Japan in 2025, which provided a powerful impetus to interstate partnership at the highest level.

The Turkmen diplomat briefed Princess Takamado on the extensive work of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, emphasizing Turkmenistan's commitment to high humanitarian principles and care for the younger generation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their mutual readiness for the further diversified development of bilateral relations in the areas of education, sports, environmental protection, and the promotion of advanced green energy technologies.
