On May 21, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit to participate in a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkmenistan reported.

At Ashgabat International Airport, the Azerbaijani Prime Minister was met by Turkmenistan's Minister of Finance and Economy Mammetguly Astanagulov and other officials.
