Morning is the beginning of a new day, which can be wonderful if properly prepared for it. After all, it often depends on the mood in which we meet the morning, how the whole day goes.

What techniques will help you wake up in a good mood?

Getting ready from the evening. Waking up in a great mood will be easy if you get enough sleep. The results of research by the American National Sleep Foundation showed that a person needs from 7 to 9 hours of sleep to feel good. In addition, it has been scientifically proven that the most productive sleep occurs between 22:00 and 02:00 at night.

Before going to bed, take a shower or bath, try to leave all the problems in the passing day. Mentally scroll through the pleasant and fun things that happened during the day. Sleep in a well-ventilated room.

It will be more pleasant to wake up if you set a melody on the alarm clock that will evoke positive feelings in you.

According to various studies, you should wake up on the first try. If you are one of those who sets an alarm every 10 minutes, then most likely at the moment of the final awakening you feel irritated and overwhelmed.

Don't skip breakfast for several reasons:

  • you can treat yourself to something tasty if you follow the figure;
  • eaten for breakfast is absorbed by the body better than eaten at lunch and dinner;
  • a tasty and proper breakfast not only gives energy to the body for the whole day, but also has a positive effect on the psychological and emotional state of a person.

Coffee or tea?

New research shows that within an hour of waking up, our bodies produce cortisol, the “stress hormone”. This hormone provides the body with the energy it needs to function.

But the caffeine in coffee blocks the production of cortisol. As a result, our body takes longer to “build up” and we feel sluggish for longer. The first cup of coffee is better to drink after 10 am.

Tea is better for breakfast.

Let’s start the morning rituals. This can be taking a contrast shower, listening to an audiobook, a simple warm-up, breathing exercises, yoga, etc.

Be sure to make time for your family. Breakfast together, hugs and a kiss before leaving will provide a great start to the day.
