The Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan predicts strong winds in the country on July 4-5.
According to the service, the strongest gusts of wind are expected in the Balkan and Mary velayats, where the speed can reach 15 meters per second. In the capital, the wind speed will be 12-14 meters per second.
Windy weather will be accompanied by high temperatures. In Ashgabat, the air will warm up to +39 degrees, and in Dashoguz velayat, the temperature may reach +42 degrees.
Windy conditions are forecast to continue for two days, with meteorologists noting that such weather conditions are typical for the summer period in the region.
