Donald Trump has rolled back measures aimed at improving shower efficiency that were introduced during the presidencies of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. According to a White House statement, excessive regulation in this area “suppresses personal freedom,” URA.RU reports on its Telegram channel.

The initial restrictions on water flow in showers were adopted back in 1992. Under the Obama and Biden administrations, shower systems with multiple heads that combined to flow more than 9.5 liters of water per minute were banned. Previously, this limitation applied to each individual watering can.

The current US president has ordered the repeal of these rules, introduced by his Democratic predecessors.

“In my case, I like to take a good shower, take care of my beautiful hair,” Donald Trump commented on his decision.
