1. Iran is interested in further constructive work with Turkmenistan in the fields of energy, transport, water resources and other areas. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian at a meeting with Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.
2. Political consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Iran were held in Tehran on Wednesday. The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral partnership in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields. 5. The State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" has launched an international competition for the design and construction of a new production complex for the production of iodine, bromine and bromine derivatives. The project also includes the reconstruction of the raw material base at the West Cheleken deposit and the modernization of the Balkanabat iodine plant.
6. A new modern settlement is being built on the territory of the Taze Yol gengeshlik of the Kunyaurgench etrap of the Dashoguz velayat, the total area of which is 98 hectares. Upon completion of construction, the housing stock of the new settlement will consist of 400 houses, including two-story cottages. 1. A new scientific study has found an alarming link between eating food from plastic containers and the development of heart failure. 1. The Turkmenistan women's futsal team won 1:0 against the Tajikistan team in the third round of the Central Asian Football Association Championship in Dushanbe. The only goal in the match was scored in the 12th minute by the midfielder of the Turkmenistan team and Lithuanian Zalgiris Maya Musatskaya.Following the third game day, the Turkmenistan national team scored 4 points and rose to second place in the CAFA standings. In the fourth round on February 14, Kamil Mingazov's team will play with the Iranian team.
2. Turkmen chess player Saparmyrat Atabayev won the Futures category at the II International Chess Tournament "Al-Biruni" in Tashkent. Following nine rounds, Atabayev showed the best result among ten participants in his category. The Turkmen athlete was awarded a cup and a cash prize of 3 500 USD.

3. On the second day of the 29th International Sambo Tournament for the Prizes of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Turkmen athletes won 7 medals - one gold, two silver and five bronze. The scientific results were shown by representatives of combat sambo. In the weight category up to 71 kg, Kadyrjan Gafurov, Kerim Kerimov and Isa Arslanov occupied the entire podium, winning gold, silver and bronze, respectively.
