Today, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The parties reviewed the priority areas of the Turkmen-Turkish agenda.
The diplomats discussed current issues of cooperation of mutual interest, paying special attention to interaction on the platforms of regional and international structures.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey thanked the leadership of Turkmenistan for the medal “In Honor of the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi”.
The parties also considered the issue of holding joint events within the framework of the “International Year of Peace and Trust”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
