Midfielder of the football club “Ahal” Elman Tagayev was recognized as the best player of the championship of Turkmenistan at the end of the 2024 season, the FFT reported.
The award ceremony took place in Ashgabat. In the 2024 season, 35-year-old Tagayev scored 15 goals. “Ahal” scored 67 points and won silver medals in the Premier League.
“Arkadag” forward Didar Durdyev received the award as the best scorer of the Turkmenistan championship. Durdyev scored 31 goals.
The best coach of the 2024 season was Vladimir Bayramov, who heads “Arkadag”. Under his leadership, the team of the “smart” city won the championship and the Cup of Turkmenistan for the second time in a row, and also won the Super Cup of the country for the first time.
The best young player of the season in the championship among reserve teams is 18-year-old forward of “Arkadag-2” Enver Annaev. He has 32 goals to his credit.
The “Arkadag” and “Arkadag II” teams received Fair Play awards for “Fair Play”.
Resul Mamedov was recognized as the best referee of the season.
The captain of the Turkmenistan national team and “Arkadag”, Arslanmurat Amanov, who ended his professional career towards the end of the season, was awarded a separate award from the Football Federation.
Representatives of the Turkmenistan Futsal Super League were also awarded prizes.
