1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the progress of agricultural work and instructed to keep the cotton harvesting campaign under constant control, ensure high functionality of agricultural machinery, enterprises and collection points, and make timely payments to producers and service institutions for the work done. In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to take all measures to fully collect the rice harvest in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, as well as sugar beet in the Mary region. Separate instructions concerned control over the organization of celebrations dedicated to the upcoming Harvest Festival.

2. The Permanent Representatives of Turkmenistan and the Principality of Liechtenstein to the UN signed a Joint Communiqué in New York on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states. The ceremony took place at the office of the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations. During the meeting, the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan Aksoltan Atayeva and the representative of Liechtenstein Christian Wenaweser discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.

3. Akmammedov, who previously served as deputy chairman, was elected Chairman of the Central Council of the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan. The elections took place during the IV Congress of the party, which took place on November 4. The Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan makes a great contribution to the development of the agricultural sector, which is one of the basic segments of the national economy, as well as to stimulating farmers to new labor achievements.

Currently, more than 900 students from Turkmenistan are receiving higher education in Uzbekistan, which indicates the fruitful nature of cooperation in the field of science and education between the two countries. Turkmenistan is among the top three in this direction: the first two places in the list belong to India (5 733) and Pakistan (1 358). Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ankara Mekan Ishankuliyev emphasized that Cappadocia is an important tourist region of Turkey, it is world famous for its hot air ballooning sites.

6. The private sector of Turkmenistan has reached 29,000 companies and entrepreneurs thanks to the system of tax preferences. This was announced during a speech at the international conference "CIET-2024" by Tachmyrat Gurdov, member of the board of the UIET. The state has completely exempted agricultural producers from taxes, abolished VAT for individuals and set a tax of only 2% of turnover for small and medium businesses. Large enterprises pay 8% income tax.

7. During the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, a roadmap for 2025-2026 was adopted to strengthen international cooperation of Turkmenistan to implement the goals and objectives stipulated by the global methane commitment. For the practical implementation of the roadmap, a set of measures was developed and approved. As part of the implementation of the roadmap, cooperation is planned with the Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the EU, the OSCE, the World Bank, the ADB and the IDB, USAID and other international structures.

9. New York City authorities have decided not to fine pedestrians for crossing in the wrong places and at a red light. Previously, such violations were punishable by a fine of up to 250 USD. The initiator of the changes was a member of the city council, Democrat Mercedes Narcisse. “Every New Yorker is in a hurry to go about their business, and this is normal behavior of citizens”, - Narcisse emphasized, adding that the abolition of fines will allow the police to concentrate on more important tasks. Similar changes have already been adopted in a number of American cities, including Denver and Kansas City, as well as in the states of Missouri, California, Nevada and Virginia.

10. Saudi Arabia's “Al-Taawun” arrived in Ashgabat for the 4th round match of the AFC Champions League 2 group stage against “Altyn Asyr”. The 4th round match between the teams will be held in Ashgabat on Wednesday, November 6 and will start at 19:00 local time. The match organizers announced free entry to the stadium and called on fans to arrive for the game in advance.
