1. Today in Ashgabat, in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the International Conference “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development” was held, which was organized within the framework of the large program of celebrating the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi. The forum was chaired by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
2. The sixth Vienna Ball was held in the new “smart” Turkmen city of Arkadag. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty was the guest of honor of the event. In his welcoming speech, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the special place of relations with Austria in Turkmenistan's foreign policy and the importance of such cultural events for strengthening friendly ties between the two countries. The National Leader of the Turkmen people also thanked the head of the Austrian-Turkmen Society, Ms. Neda Berger, for her services in developing friendly relations between the countries and organizing this cultural event.

3. On Thursday, talks were held in Ashgabat between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the talks, issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including energy, transport, logistics and cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of economic ties and the implementation of joint projects, such as the Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline. Following the talks, the heads of state signed a number of agreements aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership.
4. The opening ceremony of the reconstructed avenue named after the famous German cardiac surgeon, Professor Hans Meissner, was held in the capital of Turkmenistan. The event was held as part of the celebration of the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan. The avenue, formerly known as street No. 1970, leads from Archabil avenue to the International Cardiology Center. Modern medical institutions are located along it, including centers for the treatment of diseases of the head and neck, eye diseases, neurology, endocrinology and surgery, as well as oncology and dental centers.
5. Chairperson of the Austrian-Turkmen Society, editor-in-chief of the Turkmen-Austrian magazine ‘Galkynysh” Neda Berger was awarded the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan “On the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi”. The award ceremony was held at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University Fragi. The awards were given to citizens of foreign countries who made a significant contribution to the study, preservation and popularization of the creative heritage of the founder of Turkmen poetry Magtymguly. 6. Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan. During the talks, the parties discussed key aspects of bilateral relations and outlined ways to further develop cooperation between the two countries. During the conversation, the traditionally friendly nature of the interstate dialogue, based on the principles of mutual respect and trust, was noted. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for expanding economic partnership, in particular in the areas of trade, energy, transport and communications.
7. Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in an international forum in Ashgabat dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi. In his speech, the Russian leader emphasized the relevance of Magtymguly's creative legacy in the modern world. Putin noted that Magtymguly Fragi is rightfully considered a great humanist and the founder of Turkmen poetry and literature. The Russian President emphasized Magtymguly's unique poetic style, his ability to express thoughts briefly, but succinctly and aphoristically. Many of the poet's sayings have become catchphrases, proverbs and sayings. President Putin also spoke about Magtymguly's connection with Russia, mentioning that the poet lived for a long time near Astrakhan, where the Turkmen diaspora still lives. Putin noted the opening of a school named after Magtymguly in the village of Funtovo in 2019, the installation of a monument to the poet in Astrakhan and the grand opening of his bust in Moscow in September of this year.

2. The London Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery conducted a study to determine the most attractive celebrity men from a scientific point of view. The methodology of the study is based on the ancient Greek concept of the golden ratio. 3. A unique environmental campaign was held in the small French town of Darnetal. Local authorities offered residents to exchange cigarette butts collected from the streets for delicious honey from local beekeepers. Participants in the campaign were asked to fill a 1,5-liter bottle with cigarette butts, for which they received a pot of natural honey as a reward. This initiative was aimed at combating the serious problem of pollution of city streets.
