On October 7, the Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan were solemnly opened in Ashgabat. The opening ceremony was held in the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, where a concert of the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy was held.
As reported by asmannews.ru, before the concert, Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Nursahet Shirimov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Nurlan Nogayev addressed the participants and guests of the forum with words of greeting.
The concert program included folk melodies and songs, as well as music by Kazakh composers.
The Kurmangazy Orchestra has captivated audiences in many countries around the world with its virtuoso performance. A few days ago, the orchestra celebrated its 90th anniversary.
At the same time, on this day, a concert of the musical ensemble of the State Academic Concert Organization “Kazakhconcert” named after Roza Baglanova was held at the “Turkmenistan” cinema and concert center.
Today, the Kazakh film “Paralympic” will be presented to Turkmen viewers.
The cultural event will continue until October 9.
