As part of the official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev and Director of the Department of Development of Partner Talents in the ICT Sphere of Huawei, Sung Gang.
The main topic of discussion was the prospects for cooperation in the field of digital transformation of the educational system of Turkmenistan and the development of ICT personnel to ensure innovative growth of the country's economy. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Education.
During the meeting, key areas of cooperation were discussed, including the development of the digital infrastructure of educational institutions, the creation of innovation and research centers, as well as internship and professional development programs.
Huawei proposed integrating its certified courses on 5G, IoT and cloud computing technologies into the curricula of leading universities in Turkmenistan. The possibility of using cloud solutions and artificial intelligence in educational processes to personalize learning and improve its quality was also discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue discussing specific steps to implement the proposed initiatives, with the aim of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and Huawei.
It is planned to create an educational technology ICT center, which will become a platform for exchanging experiences and promoting joint initiatives in key areas such as big data, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies and the Internet of Things.
