President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Astana on a working visit to participate in the second meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz.
The head of state's plane landed at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, where he was met by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and other officials, TDH reports.
The Central Asia-Germany summit is designed to strengthen cooperation between the countries of the region and Germany.
“Neutral Turkmenistan has consistently demonstrated its commitment to constructive international dialogue, which contributes to solving important global development issues and building trusting cooperation in the common interests,” the source notes.
