Today, a telephone conversation took place between Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Hussein.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties exchanged views on the current state of Turkmen-Iraqi relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of exchanging bilateral visits at the highest and high levels, as well as continuing contacts in a bilateral format within the framework of international organizations.
The ministers noted the importance and need to continue close cooperation on regional and international issues, the source notes.
