The second Altyn Top Cup children's football festival has ended in Ashgabat, bringing together about 250 young football players aged 8-10. The event, aimed at increasing the popularity of football in the country, lasted three days and attracted many spectators. Eight children's clubs took part in the tournament: Altyn Top, Diyar, Dokma, Kuvatly Beden, Mekan, Arkadag, SMM+ and Ahal Kopetdag. Young athletes demonstrated their skills, mastery, passion and team spirit.
The festival organizer, founder and coach of the Altyn Top club Shatlyk Atayev noted that this is already the second Altyn Top Cup festival, the first of which was held in August 2023.
At the end of the event, the participants received diplomas and medals from the hands of the head coach of the Turkmenistan national team, Mergen Orazov. He wished the young footballers to achieve their goals, work hard and take care of their health.
It is worth noting that the football club «Altyn Top» continues to recruit children from 5 to 13 years old. Training takes place on natural grass in the 4th microdistrict of Ashgabat three times a week.
