The most important area of international economic cooperation of Turkmenistan is partnership in the energy sector. In this context, on July 29, meetings between the heads of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan and representatives of the ADNOC company (UAE) was held in Ashgabat, TDH reports.
During negotiations with the ADNOC delegation, headed by Senior Vice President Abdullah Al Shamsi, issues related to the implementation of the third stage of the Galkynysh field were discussed. The parties reviewed the legal, commercial, investment and technical aspects of the project, as well as its connection with the promotion of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline. ADNOC expressed its readiness to cooperate with oil and gas companies from Kazakhstan.
At the same time, it is necessary to note that the Turkmen side has repeatedly expressed support for the participation of economic structures of neighboring states in the implementation of large-scale international gas projects of Turkmenistan.
