In Ashgabat, as part of the event for the presentation of the global report “World Population in 2024”, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Population Fund.
The document confirms the mutual interest of the parties in further cooperation to achieve common goals.
The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCS) was created in 1926. This is one of the oldest humanitarian public organizations in the country. The organization operates throughout Turkmenistan through a wide network of velayat, city and etrap branches.
