June 29 marked exactly one year since the opening of the “smart” city of Arkadag in Turkmenistan. On this occasion, ceremonial events were held on this day, TDH reports.
Numerous residents who received comfortable apartments and houses in the city of Arkadag celebrated housewarming, TDH reports. A characteristic feature of the city are modern 5-, 7- and 9-story apartment buildings and 2-story cottages, built using smart home technology.
In the afternoon, a festive conference was held in the conference hall of the hyakimlik of the city of Arkadag, which was attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and departments, military and law enforcement agencies, the administration of the capital hyakimlik and the city of Arkadag, representatives of public organizations, and the media.
During the forum, good news was heard – scientists of the Space-Earth Society, studying celestial bodies, named one of the stars in the sky with the name “Arkadag” in honor of the first anniversary of the opening of the city of Arkadag and as a symbol of pride in this city.
In the evening, performances by the country’s art masters was held on Arkadag Binasy Square.
The festive program included songs and vocal and choreographic numbers performed by artists and creative groups that demonstrated the diversity of genres and styles of Russian art, its rich traditions, original flavor and great potential.
The audience greeted with loud applause the performance of the masters of art of the Turkish Republic, who performed popular pop and folk songs.
According to established tradition, the united folklore group performed the folk dance “Kushtdepdi”.
The powerful final chord of the concert was the song “ÖŇE, ÖŇE DIŇE ÖŇE, JAN WATANYM TÜRKMENISTAN!”, the author of the words and music of which is the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
