The creation of a production complex for processing shellfish based on waste-free biotechnologies is the concept of a new export component for Turkmenistan. This was stated on the sidelines of a scientific conference in Ashgabat by Doctor of Science Stanislav Sirotin, director of the International Institute of Industrialization and Protection of the Population from Disasters and Accidents (Bulgaria).
In an interview with the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper, the scientist emphasized that this project initiative has socio-economic advantages, such as the creation of new jobs.
Stanislav Sirotin spoke as an expert when discussing such scientific areas as the integration of high-tech innovative biotechnology into the agriculture of Turkmenistan and the use of terrestrial mollusk extract to create highly effective additives.
“In my message, I examined in detail the role and importance of terrestrial mollusks in the food industry and for improving the health of the nation, I give a theoretical justification for their beneficial and medicinal qualities. Particular attention is focused on such an innovative product as snail mucus extract”, - the scientist noted.
Against this background, Sirotin also examined issues related to the export component of international cooperation using the example of the growing worldwide demand for snail mucus, which today finds various applications, mainly including agriculture, cosmetology and medicine, mainly in the context of supporting the musculoskeletal system.
Regenerating gels, as well as biological additives, are prepared on the basis of snail mucus. Moreover, the development of specialized dietary supplements and suspensions is considered in the context of supporting calcium balance and the development of the musculoskeletal system in foals of the Ahal-Teke horse breed in Turkmenistan and on the basis of environmentally friendly products. Based on the knowledge gained during the creation of a production complex for shellfish processing, based on waste-free biotechnologies, the concept of a new export component for Turkmenistan is proposed, the scientist emphasized.
