The Miras TV channel is preparing a program dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the Turkmen dutarist and performer Halla Bagshy.
On March 30, a recording of material for the broadcast took place at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
Interesting facts related to the life and creative path of Halla Bagshy were presented by Professor of TNK, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Yolaman Nurymov, Doctor of Art History, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Charyyar Jumaev and senior researcher at the music-ethnographic laboratory of the conservatory Atageldy Mammetgulyev.
Turkmen folk songs from his repertoire became a musical illustration of Halla bagshy’s creativity: Çäre ýokdur performed by the Honored Cultural Worker of Turkmenistan Rejepdurdy Begenchev, Hal iki ýandan performed by the folk bakhshi of Turkmenistan Shemshat Khojaeva, Amman-amman performed by the honored bagshy of Turkmenistan Merdankuli Bayramov and others.
Hally bagshy is one of the most prominent representatives of the galaxy of Turkmen bagshy, who constitute the pride and glory of traditional folk music.
