Russian President Vladimir Putin sent personal congratulations on his 100th anniversary to Great Patriotic War veteran Matryona Volgina, who permanently resides in Ashgabat, reports the press service of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
Diplomats of the Russian diplomatic mission in the Turkmen capital conveyed congratulations.
“Thank you for your feat, we sincerely congratulate you on your anniversary, we wish you health, prosperity and all the best!” says the press service of the Russian Embassy.
During the war 1941–1945 Matryona Volgina was a signalman and visited different fronts.
