AFC Women’s Football Day 2024 was celebrated in Ashgabat. It was organized by the Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT) together with the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Education and Sports in order to popularize women’s football and mass involvement of girls in sports.
Within the framework of the holiday program, a football festival for girls was held, which ended with the presentation of gifts from the FTF - balls, T-shirts and a general photo as a souvenir.
As the FFT reported, players of the women's national football and futsal teams of Turkmenistan and young football players took part in the football festival.
It is worth noting that the head coach of the Turkmenistan women’s football team, Kamil Mingazov, also took part in the events.
