Activities to equip 27 clinical laboratories in Lebap velayat with modern laboratory equipment have been completed as part of a project funded by the Government of Turkmenistan and implemented by UNDP.
A total of 11 laboratories in Turkmenabat and 16 in all etraps of the velayat are equipped with equipment for conducting general and biochemical blood tests, coagulation analysis, and microscopic examinations. Also, as part of the project, related equipment, reagents and consumables for laboratory research were supplied.
Laboratory personnel have undergone special training in the use of this equipment, the UNDP press service reports.
